Join us for a Shabbat afternoon picnic to celebrate Lag Ba’Omer, as we sing, play games, and build a magnificent rainbow. Of course, there’ll be plenty of delicious snacks to enjoy!

We’ll have hula hoops and frisbees, along with giant parachute games, and get ready to have your face painted as we gather at Earl Bales park with fellow families from our community.

Rabbi Shaner will also be on hand to lead us in a lively, camp-style sing-along, culminating in a special Havdalah ceremony. If rain interrupts our outdoor plans, fear not—we’ll simply relocate indoors at Temple!

Temple Sinai Golf Day

Temple Sinai Golf Day 2024

IN-PERSON
Wednesday, June 19 from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

Providing our youth with direct exposure to Israel and their reform counterparts fosters understanding and strengthens their connection to Jewish life before they head to university and college.

To ensure the continuity of this vital program, support for our annual Golf Day is essential.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, June 19, not merely in swinging a golf club, rather by investing in the profound connection between our youth and the land and the people of Israel.

FCAS Commercial ft. Rabbi Dolgin

National Post logo

Following the online release of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism‘s (FCAS) commercial and preceding its broadcast during the 96th Academy Awards, Rabbi Michael Dolgin wrote an opinion piece for the National Post.

“The very notion that any places of worship in Canada require active, high-level security should be deeply troubling. Yet for Jews and Muslims and other minority communities, it is already normalized. We work with police personnel on our procedures should an armed intruder be in our sanctuary, our preschool, or our gathering spaces.

With this established reality in mind, in the last five months, the experience of being a Jew and a rabbi in Toronto has changed dramatically.”
